A small place that's hard for foreigners to pronounce – Čabrunići – and that is a home for only around one hundred people is located in the vicinity of a picturesque mid-Istrian town Svetvinčenat (Saint Vincent). The old core of the village has a typical Istrian architecture, with semi-detached stone houses with tall walls. In the surrounding area you will find many old estates (in Croatian: stancije) that are today turned into holiday houses. There is a legend about some undiscovered treasure that the locals hid from robbers/authorities a little over century ago. So, the youngest ones can use this holiday for a treasure- hunt adventure, while the adults can enjoy the indigenous Istrian nature and the fact this location is far from tourist fuss, yet still only thirty kilometers close to the sea.
