Flavia was a wonderful host. She responded quickly both before and during the trip and was able to help set up some extra items. It was so nice to have met her and have her help! I arranged the trip and had looked at all the photos. But when my traveling companions unlocked the front door and saw the beautiful old stonework in the hall and the view out to the pool and the back courtyard, they gasped at how spectacular it was. We ended up spending a day just lounging in the courtyard, we loved it so much. The house is very comfortable, beautifully renovated with modern fixtures while still retaining the old feel. Svetvincenat is an interesting village in a central location in Istria and has a lot of services for a small village. There are 2 pizza places, several restaurants and cafe/bars along with a bakery, butcher and 2 small grocery shops. We did great day trips to Motovun, the amphitheater and Roman temple in Pula and down to the beaches at Kamenjak National Park south of Pula. Don't miss the Safari Bar at Kamenjak for a drink and meal in an incredibly charming and beautiful setting.
Laurent / Wonderful ... we will definitely come back
Everything ... superb property decorated with a lot of taste and a very nice patio with a pool.
This house has been in the family of Flavia for a long time ... and you can feel that the house renovation has been done with a lot of passion.
Flavia was a very attentive host always available to give us very good advice.
Thank you again Flavia. We will definitely come back.
Sofia / Exceptional

Svetvinčenat (or as the locals call it, Savičenta) was named after the church of St. Vincent. This ancient inner Istrian town is consisted of a historical castle and surrounding houses. The Castle or Kaštel attracts many visitors that come to admire it and it hosts various events. A knight tournament re-enactment under the Castle is a must-see and goes on throughout the summer season. Beautiful and well preserved renaissance square, city cistern, church, loggia and medieval palaces all surround this impressive castle. There are a few restaurants and cafés that you can visit after your sightseeing.
