Posizione
Juršići is a village placed near the Istrian medieval town Savičenta and presents one of the approximately twenty settlements in the area. Even though Juršići is a small place, it has an interesting history. This was one of the first places in Istria where schooling in Croatian language took place. Today we find two churches here that date back to 16th and 19th century, and a former convent of the Carmelites that's turned into a restoration workshop for paintings and wooden statues. The surrounding area has taverns with delicious food and drinks and the whole southwestern Istria is a place of splendid wine and olive oil. The closest towns, Savičenta and Vodnjan, are two medieval towns definitely worth visiting. Also the nearby places such as Pula, Fažana, Rovinj etc. offer various sightseeing, natural, cultural and sport attractions, as well as the great beaches.
