Krk

Krk, in the Kvarner Gulf, is the largest island in the Adriatic Sea and the Croatian island with the most settlements – 68 in all. Thanks to its location and good transport links, it is more densely populated than the islands of Dalmatia. The best-known places on the island are Baška, Dobrinj, Klimno, Krk, Malinska, Njivice, Omišalj, Punat and Vrbnik.
