Location
The closest town is Barban with interesting medieval remains such as defense walls and city gates; this place is also known for its frescoes and glagolitic inscriptions within 4 old churches; but the most famous fact about Barban is a knight game ‘Trka na prstenac’ (the meaning roughly translated is ‘Race at the Ring) that takes place every August under the auspices of the President of Croatia. You can find the nearest beach in a village Krnica, a little over 10 km away. The next fun place in proximity is a horse ranch that offers group and individual riding programs. You can also have a day tour of Pula that is only 25 km away. The largest Istrian city has numerous interesting sightseeing points, mainly from antiquity, but also Medieval and Austrian times.
