Beautiful stone villa Meli, private pool, sea view, 4 km beach, near Pula Villa Meli is a spacious and elegant holiday villa located in a peaceful part of Vodnjan, surrounded by greenery, olive trees and the authentic Istrian countryside. The nearest beach is less than 4 kilometres away, while Pula Airport can be reached in approximately 15 minutes by car. Shops and restaurants are also available nearby. The villa combines modern comfort with traditional Istrian architectural details and offers plenty of space for a relaxing stay with family or friends. It features five comfortable bedrooms and five bathrooms, a bright living area, a dining space and a fully equipped kitchen. Large windows and doors fill the interior with natural light and open towards the terrace and pool area. The private outdoor area is ideal for spending long summer days outside. The swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with sun loungers, while the covered terrace provides a pleasant setting for outdoor dining and relaxing in the shade. A barbecue area is also available for preparing meals together. The large, carefully maintained garden offers plenty of space for children to play and adults to unwind in complete privacy. Guests of Villa Meli also have access to a nearby children’s playground and basketball court, created by the owner and shared exclusively with guests staying in Villa Meli and three neighbouring holiday villas. This additional recreational area makes the property particularly suitable for families with children and guests who enjoy outdoor activities. Location
Villa Meli is only 10 kilometers away from Pula, the largest city of the Istrian peninsula that has some amazing attractions. The monuments from the antiquity, medieval and Austrian period are the reason to visit Pula. Its most famous building is Arena, one of the best preserved amphitheatres in the world built in the 1st century for spectacular gladiator and wild animals fights. Today it's used for many interesting events, such as the Film Festival, concerts by international stars, gladiator games reenactments etc. The Arch of the Sergi is worth visiting as it's considered as one of the most beautiful ancient arches, and also the famous mosaic 'Punishment of Dirce' discovered by chance after the WW2 bombing. From the Venetian fortress on Kaštel there is a panoramic view of Pula. Veli Brijun, the largest island in national park Brijuni is approachable by boat from Fažana, a place that used to be a fisherman village, but today is turned towards tourism thanks to the beauty of its beaches, promenades and the vicinity of Brijuni. Everyone that ever visited Brijuni and enjoyed the calmness of walking through the paths surrounded by woods and meadows with grazing deer has witnessed their uniqueness. Thanks to the Austrian industrial Paul Kupelwieser that bought the islands in the late 19th century Brijuni have this unique appearance. How he turned a neglected island into an elite resort and other fun facts can be learned during the island sightseeing with a tourist train. Vodnjan is a little town that still has an appearance of a compact medieval place where representative palaces from various eras can be found, for example the palace of the Bettica Counts dating in the year 1300. But what stands out in Vodnjan is the church of st. Blaise that is first in Istria not only in one category: it's the largest and the tallest church in Istria, it has the tallest church tower modeled by the Basilica of St. Marco in Venice and has the richest collection of sacral art in Istria and widely known Vodnjan mummies. Vodnjan area has the most preserved kažuns (little stone houses) in Istria, around 3000. It also has a little church of st. Fosca, as some say, built on a location of certain energy radiations. Its reputation has traveled a long way, so it's visited by many pilgrims and all of the others attracted by its positive energy.

Waren von dem Haus und dem Meerblick sehr begeistert. Tolle Lage. Einkaufen, Meer usw. alles in näherer Umgebung. Eigentümerin sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Toller Urlaub bei netten Leuten
Wir haben die Wohnung im Juli für 14 Tage angemietet. Alles war zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt. Die Wohnung Modern eingerichtet und mit allen was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Lage ist Perfekt. Kein Autoverkehr, da das Haus am Ende einer Sackgasse steht. Geschäfte und das Meer sind trotz der ruhigen Lage nur ein paar hundert Meter entfernt und die Promenade kann man zu Fuß in 10 min erreichen. Wir wurden von Darko und seiner Frau herzlich aufgenommen und den ganzen Urlaub über mit selbst gebackenen Kuchen, Schnaps und einem Grillabend verwöhnt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort Urlaub machen und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf.

Fantastic private house
The house is absolutely fantastic. It has everything you need, and if you are missing anything, the owners are very helpful and will get it for you. Great private pool area, fully equipped kitchen, four very nice bedrooms with aircon and wc/bath. Very modern and stylish. Outdoor barbecue, dining area, and lounge. Large supermarkets are within walking distance. The only thing we were missing was a few bikes, but not a complaint at all.
